Project Description: Review of the Code for Responsible Investment in South Africa and drafting “CRISA 2”
Coordinating and project managing the review of the Code for Responsible Investment in South Africa (CRISA). The project included the following activities:
- Convening and managing a working group of expert individuals.
- Convening stakeholder interest groups across the investment value chain for consultation.
- Conducting both bilateral and group stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Engaging relevant stakeholders, including relevant regulatory bodies.
- Conducting comparative analysis of global stewardship codes.
- Drafting revised code.
- Managing public comment process, collating feedback and incorporating revisions into draft code.
- Presenting drafts and stakeholder feedback to the working group and main CRISA Committee.
