INITIATIVES: ATLEHA-EDU

Six Capitals ESG Advisory is the implementation partner of Atleha-edu, a non-profit company (NPC) that helps ordinary South Africans save and invest for a better tomorrow. We do this through Financial Sector Code (FSC)-compliant awareness and interactive education initiatives focused on retirement fund trustees, management committee members and fund members.

In Sesotho, when you tell someone to “Atleha” you are telling them to prosper. Our dream for South Africans is for them to prosper through the building blocks of education and technology. By combining “Atleha” and “edu”, we want to “speak life” into the dream of prosperity for the majority of South Africans who have been excluded from quality financial education as a result of apartheid and its legacy.

Accessible, quality consumer financial education (CFE) is provided through multiple platforms, including interactive in-person workshops, written articles, infographics, virtual reality experiences, WhatsApp campaigns and publications translated into various South African languages. Atleha-edu resources are available on the Atleha-edu website to retirement fund trustees, principal officers and members at no cost.
